Høje‑Taastrup Environmental and Energy Center (MEC) is an association and registered social economic enterprise. Our purpose is to strengthen sustainability on an ecologically sound basis and create a greener future in Høje‑Taastrup Municipality.
We work with the environment, energy, recycling, waste prevention and green transition. At the same time, we create jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities for people who need support to get closer to the labor market.
